Bilanga is a HED achondrite (from the asteroid Vesta) meteorite, officially classified as Diogenite, that was seen to fall in Burkina Faso in 1999. A total of 25 kg was recovered. Witnessed falls are rare and especially valuable to science, because the stones are collected before Earth's weather can change them.
