Recent falls
Meteorites seen to fall around the world in the last few years. Each has its own page with a map, the date, our own summary and, once they are announced, the official name, type and recovered mass.

A fall is a meteorite that someone saw coming down, as opposed to a find, picked up later. Falls are rare and valuable to science: only a handful are recovered each year, so every sighting helps. Saw a fireball? Report it, and see fireball sightings from other visitors.
